The 30-second version
Use GadgetFlows for anything — personal, professional, or commercial — at no cost. Please do not abuse, attack, or misuse the service. We provide it “as is” with no warranties: if you rely on a tool for a safety-critical decision and it produces a wrong result, that responsibility rests with you. Read on for the details.
01 The service
“GadgetFlows” (or “we”, “us”, “the service”) is the website at gadgetflows.com, which hosts a collection of developer utilities that run entirely inside your web browser — encoders, decoders, formatters, converters, generators, and similar tools.
- Tool
- Any individual page that processes input you provide.
- You / User
- Any person or automated agent that loads or interacts with the site.
- Content
- The HTML, CSS, JavaScript and copy that make up GadgetFlows.
- Input
- Data you type or paste into a tool. It stays in your browser and is never transmitted to us.
02 Eligibility
You may use GadgetFlows if you can form a binding contract with us (typically you must be at least 13 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) and you are not prohibited from doing so by applicable law.
No registration, account, or payment is required. The service is offered free of charge.
03 License to use
Subject to these terms, we grant you a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use GadgetFlows for any lawful purpose — personal, educational, commercial, or otherwise.
You may bookmark our pages, link to them, screenshot them, and reference them in your own work.
04 Acceptable use
Please use the service responsibly. Specifically:
You may
- Use any tool for personal or commercial projects
- Embed screenshots in articles, talks, and documentation
- Bookmark or deep-link to specific tool URLs
- Link to individual tools from your blog or README
You may not
- Use the site to violate laws or another party's rights
- Disrupt the site's availability (DDoS, automated abuse, etc.)
- Resell or repackage the service as your own product
- Imply that GadgetFlows endorses your product or organization
- Scrape the site at industrial scale
We may rate-limit, block, or redirect requests that appear abusive — for example, very high request rates from a single IP or automated probing for vulnerabilities.
05Your inputs & outputs
Because all tools run client-side in your browser, your inputs never leave your device when you use a tool, and we therefore claim no rights over them. Likewise the outputs — the formatted JSON, the generated UUID, the rendered Markdown — belong entirely to you.
For a full breakdown of what data is technically observable at our hosting layer (server access logs and similar), see the Privacy Policy.
06 Trademarks
The name GadgetFlows, the “GF” monogram, and the project logo are trademarks of the project owner. You may reference them factually — for example, “rendered with GadgetFlows Markdown Preview” — without permission. You may not use them in a way that suggests endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without prior written consent.
07 No warranty
GadgetFlows is provided as a free utility. To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We make no guarantee that any specific tool will produce correct, complete, or suitable output for your use case. Do not rely on GadgetFlows as the sole source of truth for safety-critical decisions — for example, verifying production JWTs or generating cryptographic material for sensitive systems. Always sanity-check against a second source.
08 Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will the project owner or its contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the site
- Any output produced by any tool
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
- Statements or conduct of any third party on the service
Where local law does not allow these exclusions, our total aggregate liability to you is capped at the greater of the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months (which, since the service is free, is $0) or USD 100.
09 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the project owner and contributors from any claims, damages or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of GadgetFlows or your violation of these terms.
10 Termination
You can stop using GadgetFlows at any time by simply closing the tab. We may stop offering the service, or any part of it, at any time and with or without notice. We may also block specific IPs, ASN ranges, or jurisdictions if needed to keep the service running for everyone else.
Termination of access does not affect any rights or obligations that by their nature should survive — including the disclaimers (§07), limitation of liability (§08), and indemnification (§09).
11 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally — for example, when we add new features or respond to legal changes. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the current revision.
For material changes that affect your rights, we'll post a notice on the homepage at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the site after that point constitutes acceptance.
12 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the project owner's country of residence, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the courts with jurisdiction over that residence.
Nothing in this section limits the consumer-protection rights you may have under mandatory local law.
13 Contact
Notices required under these terms, and all other enquiries, should be directed through the contact page at gadgetflows.com.
